Cumbuco is a small, sleepy, picturesque fishing village in the Northeast of Brazil and is located on the coast, embedded in sand dunes, lagoons, and a white sandy beach ranging several kilometers. Due to its proximity to the equator, air temperature is at 28°C and water temperature at 26°C, all year long. The climate is tropical, with a constant fresh Southeast breeze.

Despite its very good infrastructure, with a lot of restaurants, cafes, surf shops, drugstores (pharmacies), car rentals, and many more little shops, Cumbuco has mostly maintained its original character over the years: wild donkeys, cows, and horses shape the town as much as the friendly Brazilians, whose joie de vivre can be felt in every corner of town.

Due to its proximity to Fortaleza and the airport (40 minutes), Cumbuco is the departure point for many travellers. Here they have the opportunity to plan different tours, ranging from day trips to trips lasting several days; all of this is easily manageable from Cumbuco.

No matter if you are planning a shopping tour, city sightseeing, or a trip to the hippie village Canoa Quebrada or Jericoacoara. Cumbuco offers something for everyone.
